- Reinforced concrete channel : length 3Kms, width 32m, height between 5 and 6m, capacity 800m3/s.
- Roads on both sides of the channel equipped with drainage and sewer networks.
- Gravel trap still situated upstream the canal (height : 4m, crest length : 80m).
- Hydraulic control structure provided at canal entry.
- Adjustment and protection of riverbed between the gravel trap sill and hydraulic control structure (length : 350m).
- Reinforced concrete retaining walls and bottom slab of canal provided for a delivery of 800m3/s (length : 3Km).
- Sin El-Fil bridge : adding up one simply supported span of 12m to the existing structure.
- Tramway bridge : continuous prestressed concrete bridge crossing the canal, the highway and the local road bordering (total length : 75m, width : 16m).
- Special structure for canal outlet into the sea.
Note : This project was designed and supervised in association with ETEC and Abou Hamad Offices.
